Gary Simpson, Lead Pastor
Gary was born and raised in Sardis. His venture into ministry started at age 21 and has taken him to Winnipeg, Calgary and the Ukraine. Gary spent 10 years directing a Campus Ministry at the University of Calgary and directed 5 National Summer Projects before entering Pastoral Ministry. He joined the Broadway Team in 2003 as the Lead Pastor. He lives with his wife, Sharon and four children.
Wilf Richert, Associate Pastor
Wilf and Lorena came to Broadway Church from Alberta to act as Interim Lead Pastor prior to Gary's arrival. Wilf has made pastoral ministry his life. If anyone has questioned God about how He works in this world, Wilf and Lorena have done just that. They lost 2 of their 3 sons in a tragic car accident a decade ago. They bring wisdom to ministry, understanding the mystery of living by faith. Wilf directs the Small Group Ministry among other things at Broadway.
