“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.”
- Matthew 28:18-20
These final earthly words spoken by Jesus, make up the single most significant speech in human history. This is called the “Great Commission” and sets the parameters of our service to Him. It’s a call for every member of God’s family. We will have other life tasks, but our primary work is to fulfill the Great Commission- in our home, in our personal life, in our neighborhood, in our workplace, in our community, in our nation and beyond. We have been entrusted to share the Good News of Jesus! This is a privilege that our church recognizes, as well as a responsibility we must take personally.
Broadway Church is committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus with a world that so desperately needs Him.

What is God stirring in my heart to do?
As you can see on the menu to the right, Broadway Church provides support to a number of missionaries and projects. Karen and Ricki Sanchez are part of the Team 2000 project in Chonburi, Thailand. They are active in evangelism and have built a center that ministers to Thai orphans with AIDS. Cynthia Friesen is also a missionary in Thailand (since 2006) and she’s involved in church planting. Broadway Church also supports the Baguio Youth Center, a new church in Baguio City, Philippines.
MBMS International is the global mission agency of the Mennonite Brethren church in Canada and the United States. In response to Christ’s Great Commission, MBMS International works with Mennonite Brethren churches to make disciples and plant churches globally.
