Mission Summary

Ken and Yvonne were part of a church planting team in Sierra Leone from 1977 to 1995, where Ken’s focus was primarily on discipling church leaders and training pastors.  They left Sierra Leone as the country’s rebel war began to approach Freetown, where they lived.

Since 1997 they have lived in England, providing ongoing support to the work in Sierra Leone through regular visits, during which they have conducted seminars for in-service training of the pastors and their wives, and for Christian teachers in their churches’ primary schools.  Ken is also overseeing a number of primary school building projects, two of which were sponsored by Broadway Church.

Children

Three married sons, Richard and Stephanie, Shawn and Angela, and Kevin and Antoinette, and one granddaughter, Malia, born to Richard and Stephanie.
