Here at Broadway Church, we are very aware of Seasonal Affective Disorder. For years, many people in our group have migrated down to the warm and sunny beaches of the Palm Desert in order to avoid the doldrums.
For the rest of us, however, all we can do is party the hours away until the sun comes out again in June 2011. In order to make the most of the rainy season, the Celebration Council is ready to start the party early – November (well, not that early, I guess.
We are holding a party-idea contest. Here’s what it’s about:
1. Fill in the form (below) to enter your BEST idea about what the church can do together in November. Ideas that we’ve already rejected are:
- Project Runway with your old fabric from under the bed
- Don’t forget the Hymn-Sing Lyrics
2. Wait until we decide if your idea is the right one.
3. Claim your prize at the event. It will be an ipad (if someone donates their “old” toy) OR a pad of paper.
